Lately I have been liking art that features weird old ghostly galleons. Must be that pirate meme in the air. At anyrate- I was reminded of this great painting by Seattle painter Jacques Moiteret.
I found another great painting in a book about Symbolist art I just bought, by painter Ferdynand Ruszczyc (1870-1936), "Nec Megitur" (below)
